Notes - BECKER, Patricia Ann - Peacefully, at Cambridge Country Manor, Cambridge, Ontario, Friday, May 22, 2009, Patricia (Pat) Becker, in her 69th year. Beloved mother of Bryan Stott, Darren (Sylvie) Doerr, Valerie Minaker, Cheryl (Chris) Whelan and Crystal Drover Dear sister to Kathaleen (Gord) Parks, Roy Becker, Merrill (Bill) Kinzel, Jan (Dan) Daley and Dale (Al) Pinheiro. Grandmother to her ("baker's dozen") 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by her parents, Harold (1989) and Mary (1999). She was also predeceased by the last of her "babies," her devoted dog and longtime companion, Chicklou. Pat was born in (Galt) Cambridge and was a resident of the city for most of her life. She retired from Long Manufacturing (Hayes-Dana) in 2005 after being with the company for 34 years. Honouring Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 10: 30 a.m. At Pat's request, any expressions of sympathy may be made as donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
