  Sittler, Joseph - On February 26, 1982, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Joseph Sittler, aged 50 years. Beloved husband of Merle of 388 Langside St., Winnipeg. Mr. Sittler was born in St. Jacob's Ont. He was a member of the Canadian Legion, Branch 1. He leaves to mourn his four daughters, Dawn Ashom, Dana, Kimberley and Sherry Sittler and three grandchildren, all of Winnipeg; his father, Jacob Sittler and step-mother, Frances of St. Jacob's. Also two brothers, seven sisters, two step-brothers and two step-sisters. Predeceased by his mother, Lydia Spencer and two brothers. Memorial service was held Tuesday, March 2 at Herstone Memorial United Church. Rev. Joseph Redpath officiated. Cremation has taken place.
