- LORCH, Wilfred "Willie" - On Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1996; at his home, Wilfred "Willie" Lorch, age 65 years, of 3 Meadowlark Rd., Elmira. The husband of the late Ruth (Schill) Lorch (1994). Loving father of Cyndie and Michael Timpano of Orillia, Stephanie and Derek of Memphis, Tenn. and Jill at home. Fondly remembered by his grandsons, Joey and Joshua Timpano of Orillia. Brother of Albert and Ruth Lorch of Kitchener, Kay Allen of Mississauga, Shirley and Dave McKee of Little Britain, Ron Lorch and Ellie of Elmira; brother-in-law of Esther Sagan of Kitchener, Lillian Scott of Eau Clair, Wisc., Mary and Cos Schiebel of Elliott Lake, Oscar and Mary Schill of Drayton, Harold and Dorothy Schill, Ralph and Betty Schill, all of St. Jacobs, Clifford and Geraldine Schill of Wallenstein. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Sylvia Lorch. Wilfred was a long time employee Of Uniroyal Chemicals, retiring in 1987. Then employed by Canada Post delivering rural mail until he retired in 1994. He was an active member of the Lions Club of Elmira and former past president and was named Lion of the Year in 1989. He was a former member of the Elmira Town Council. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. on Saturday, transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira for funeral service at 11 a.m., followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.
