  METCALF, Wallace Thomas - (1929 - 2003) Suddenly, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday, January 25, 2003, Wallace was born in Fergus, Ont. and was the son of William and Lillian Metcalf (Bowley). Loving and devoted husband of Mary Lou for 50 years; loving father of Cindy Metcalf and Sharon Richter and her husband Kurt; cherished grandfather of Tom and Alec Richter. Survived by his loving sister, Helena (Ralph) Shantz; brother, Merle; brother-in-law, James Schneider and sister-in-law, Mary Metcalf. Sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews; friends and employees. Predeceased by his brothers, William; Roy and Lambert. Wally was a member of the Waterloo Musical Society Band under Professor Thiel for 25 years, former President of Scarlett-McKee Chrysler, Kitchener, and former owner of Ontario Sports Distributors, Preston, Ont. He was currently President of Beaver Textiles, Cambridge. Wally was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Waterloo. Mr. Metcalf's family will receive relatives and friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Wally's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Robert Snell officiating. Following the interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau. Relatives and friends are invited to join with the family in the Reception Room of the funeral home.
