  Steckly, Ezra J. \endash Suddenly, on Saturday, March 26, 1983, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Ezra Steckly, of 67 Henry St. E., Wellesley. Mr. Steckly was born in Wilmot township 69 years ago. He was the son of the late Nicholas Steckly and the late Catherine Jutzi; member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church; he farmed in Wellesley township, retiring in 1973. Beloved husband of the former Catherine Gerber of Wellesley; dear father of Kenneth of RR 1, Athens, Anna-Mae (Mrs. Floyd Steinman) of Wellesley, Kathryn (Mrs. Ralph Schmidt) of RR 1, Millbank, and Milinda (Mrs. Vernon Jantzi) of RR 1, Brunner; dear brother of Amos Steckly of Wellesley and Nancy ( Mrs. Amos Zehr) or RR 3, Wellesley and Elizabeth ( Mrs. Emanuel Gerber) of RR 1, Millbank. Lovingly remembered by 16 grandchildren. Predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, where family service will be held on Tuesday March 29 at 1 p.m., to be followed by a funeral service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite church at 2 p.m. Bishop Arthur Gerber will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Jesus to the Iron Curtain would be appreciated by the family.
