  DEATH or Mr. LAWRENCE ROSE - We regret to record the death of Mr. Lawrence Rose, miller, of Georgetown, which took place on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased for some weeks previous was prostrated with typhoid fever, and after a long struggle at last succumbed to the complaint. He had been in business for about fifteen years in Georgetown, previous to which time he lived in Hespeler. In both places he was well known and highly respected both by those who had business to do with him and by the community generally, for his upright, honest and straightforward dealings. Deceased was son-in-law of Mr. James Phin, of Waterloo. - Guelph Mercury - [The deceased will be well remembered by the older residents of Galt he having lived here for some time many years ago in company with his brothers Thomas and Ambrose.
