  Frederick Brandt - A furniture manufacturer in Kitchener since 1924, Frederick Charles Brandt, 66, head of the Brandt Furniture Company, died early Saturday at his residence, 99 Pandora Ave., Kitchener. He had been ailing for about a year. Deceased was well-known in the furniture industry. He was a traveler for several years. Born in Kitchener, Mr. Brandt was head of the Concordant Students of Canada. He was married 42 years ago to Wilhelmenia Gimmer. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Harry of Akron, Ohio, Arnim of Huntington, Ind., and Frederick Jr., of Kitchener, one brother, William Brandt of North Dakota and two grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. G. Mertins of Augusta, Ga., predeceased him last January. The funeral was held at Lippert's Funeral Home on Monday. Interment will be made in Woodland Cemetery.
