    • Anthony Wunder

      The death occurred at three o'clock Sunday at St. Mary's hospital after one week's illness of Anthony Wunder, Kitchener, in his 74th year. The deceased was born in Wilmot Township on April 30th, 1856. In 1869 [sic] he was married to Miss Christina Yantz who with two sons and four daughters survive him. The sons are Mr. Charles Wunder of Waterloo and Mr. John Wunder of Kitchener, the daughters, Mrs. Herbert Howson of London, Mrs. J. Hartman, Waterloo, Mrs. Robert Beger, Waterloo, and Mrs. L. Kieswetter, Kitchener. His surviving brothers are Michael of Kitchener, Jacob, Kitchener, and Joe of Denver, Colorado and his sisters, Mrs. Barbara Kolbrenner, Kitchener, and Mrs. Charles Koehler of Kitchener. There are 18 grandchildren surviving. Mr. Wunder was for many years mason contractor at Baden and moved to Kitchener about 20 years ago. He was well known throughout the district and was a faithful adherent of the Catholic Church. The funeral was held with a service at St. Mary's R.C. church on October 29th at 9 o'clock a.m. Interment was made in the Woodland mausoleum.
