  DOWNS, William Arthur On Tuesday, May 20, 1997, at St. Mary's Hospital, after a lengthy illness, age 75 years. Mr. Downs was retired from John Labatt Brewery where he was employed for 38 years. Dear husband of Grace Downs (Edwards) Schmitt of St. Jacobs; step- father of Mike Edwards and his wife Lynn of St. Clements; grandfather to Cory, Casandra and Natalie. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Thomas Down. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, Rev. Paul Ellingham officiating. Interment will follow in Erbsville Cemetery.
