Notes - BOWIE, Audrey - At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, May 23, 2008, at the age of 90 years. Audrey Bowie (nee Elmes) a lifelong resident of Galt. Beloved wife of the late Donald Bowie of Cambridge. Dear mother of David, Allen and his wife Arlene, Bruce and his wife Elspeth. Loving grandmother to David (Rebecca) and Andrew, Donald, Stephen, Michael, Daniel, Heather Allen (Robin) and six great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Howie Elmes (Gerarda) also lovingly remembered by daughters-in-law, Betty Bowie and Kaye McLeod. predeceased by her siblings, Reg, Ted, Al, Len and Edna. Audrey was an active member of Knox Galt Presbyterian Church, and longtime member of the Women's Auxiliary. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. In memory of Audrey, donations may be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
