  BURR, George Daniel Of 137 Schlueter Street, Cambridge, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Wednesday, December 17th, 1986, in his 65th year. George Burr beloved husband of Eleanor Mitchell. Dear father of Dan and his wife Gail, Sylvia, (Peggy) Mrs. William Hay all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren, Kristie and Lori Burr and Julie and Mark Hay and one brother, William and his wife Jean of Zurich and sisters, Margaret of Cambridge and Mary (Mrs. Harold McMicking) of R.R. #6, Hamilton. Predeceased by his first wife Ruth Moore (1971) and one grandson, Martin Daniel (1974). Mr. Burr was born in Preston and lived here all his life. 30 year employee of Butler Metal, member of the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch 126 and veteran of World War 2, serving in the Royal Canadian Navy. Resting at the Barthel Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends Friday, 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, December 20th, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment, Parklawn Cemetery.
