Notes - BEATTIE, Margaret (nee Montgomery) - April 17, 2007 - Margaret passed quietly, at Lisaard House, with her family at her side, after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by her loving husband of 39 years, Rod. She has gone to be together with him again. Margaret will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her sons, Rod Jr. and Stewart; loving daughters-in-law, Wendy (Rod), Cindy (Stew) and her grandchildren, Ryan and Cameron (Rod) and Liam and Shannyn (Stew). Margaret is survived by mother, Sarah and her brothers and sisters in the Montgomery family, Edward, John, Gerald, Eileen, Anna May, Dorothy, Mary and their families. Margaret is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law in the Beattie family, Helen, Sadie, Olive, April, Frank, Stewart and their families. Visitation will be held at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main St. E., Cambridge, Friday, April 20 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, April 21 2-4 p.m. Memorial service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Cambridge (P), on Sunday, April 22 at 2 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Lisaard House. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at CMH and Lisaard House for helping us through this difficult time and for the over-whelming love and support we have received from so many friends and family both here and abroad.
