  Jacob S. Brubacher, "son of Abraham and Mary (Sherk) Brubacher, was a brother to John S. and Abraham S. who resided in Woolwich Township. He was married to Magdalena Shelley and resided in Monroe Township, Juniata County, near Richfield P.O., Pennsylvania, where they died. The family consisted of several children all of whom remain in Pennsylvania except two" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
