  Shirley Jean Beattie - Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Don of Hespeler, devoted mother of Jane (Barry) Meathrel of London, Dave of Hespeler, Marion Beattie (Rob) of Bluevale, and Kent (Jennifer) of Guelph; dear mother-in-law of Janet Beattie of Hespeler. Loving grandmother of Kyla (Brian Keller) Leah, Kyle, Ian, Samantha, Amara and Alexandra, dear sister of Gordon Connor (Shirley) of Winnipeg. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Saturday, January 26 at 11 a.m. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Lisaard House.
