Notes |
- JULIUS GERMANN Julius Germann passed away early on Monday after an iness of the past ten days. He was one of the oldest business men left, having retired about 15 years ago. He celebrated his 80th birthday last October. He has always enjoyed good health until his recent sickness. He was one of the oldest members of Germania Lodge and was a faithful member of the Lucheren church, being a member of the church choir for 25 years in his earlier days. He was of a quiet disposition, a lover of home life, and most happy when surrounded by good music and song. He leaves a widow, 4 daughters and 2 sons, 12 grand- children and 1 great grandchild.
The funeral took place on Wednesday, 2.30 p.m. from the family residence, 28 Duke St.
