- PETER HARTLEIB
The death of Peter Hartleib, 194 Mary street, a resident of Waterloo for more than 50 years, occurred at St. Mary's Hospital this morning. Mr. Hartleib was at work Monday and was ill only a few days. He was in his 71st year.
He was a member of St. Louis R.C. church, the Canadian Order of Foresters, of St. Boniface Society and the Holy Name Society. He was employed at the Seagram Distillery for years and since then has been with Snyder's Limited for 17 years, He was born in Formosa.
Surviving are his wife, four sons, Irvin of Parry Sound, Charles of Port Dalhousie, Wilfred of Waterloo and Harry. of Kitchener, three daughters, Brigitta of Toronto, Clara and Nellie at home, two brothers, Joseph and Louis of Kitchener and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Giesler of Walkerton and Mrs. Joseph Hunt of Kitchener. Thirteen grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning from the residence to St. Louis church at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made at Kitchener Mount Hope R.C. Cemetery. The remains will rest at the Walsh Funeral Parlors until 1 o'clock tomorrow when they will be removed to the home.
