- BECKETT- John Edward at the KW Hospital on Sunday morning September 27th, 1987. John Beckett of 7 Glendale Road, Kitchener formerly of 185 Hedley Street, Cambridge in his 67th year, beloved husband of Louise Jordan Beckett. Dear father of Miss Deborah of Kitchener and Miss Dianne Antigonish Nova Scotia. The late Mr. Beckett was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. He was a veteran of the II World War having served with the Canadian Forces in France, Belgium and Holland and was a retired employee of Franklin Manufacturing. Resting at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday aftenoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held in me funeral home on Wednesday afternoon September 30th at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Marty Molengraf of Doon Presbyterian Church of Interment New Hope Cemetery.
