- Alexander Shoemaker
PRESTON, Alexander (Leo) Shoemaker, 237 Fountain St., died Thursday, in South Waterloo Hospital. He was 72. A native of Poland, he worked at Clare Bros. Ltd., until his retirement several years ago. He was a member of St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by a brother, Adam, of Buffalo, N.Y. and two sisters, Mrs. Benjamin (Dorothy) Rockowski of Buffalo, and Mrs. Caroline Sowa of Preston. The body will be at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, from Saturday afternoon, until Monday, when removal will be made to the church for service, at 11 a.m. The parish rosary will be said at the church Sunday at 7: 30 p.m. Burial will be in Park Lawn cemetery.
