- Mrs. Hugh (Gus) Murray
GALT, Mrs. Hugh W. (Gus) Murray, of 34 Laurie Ave. N., Galt, died Wednesday, at Victoria Hospital, London. She was
49. Mrs. Murray was the former Grace Irene Carter and was born in Guelph. She had resided in Galt since 1939 and prior to that in Guelph. She was a former member of Dublin United Church in Guelph and an adherent of Lincoln Avenue United Church in Galt. She was a member of the Ivy Rebekah Lodge, a member and past president of the Galt Curling Club and a member of the Waterloo Golf and Country Club. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Beatrice) Weale and Mrs. John (Jean) McDermot. Surviving are her husband; one son, Keith of Galt; two sisters, Mrs. William (Margaret) Worton of Preston and Mrs. Fred (Dora) Thompson of Guelph. The body is at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted Saturday, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment will be in Mount View cemetery.
