  Clarence E. Pettit GALT, Clarence Edward Pettit, 56 Glenview Ave., died Saturday, at Victoria Hospital, London, Ont. Mr. Pettit was born in Brantford and had been employed for 39 years at Dobbie Industries Ltd., where he was a foreman. He resided most of his life in Galt. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. George (Clara) Reeves of Galt; his wife, the former Marion Biggar; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (June) Craig of Toronto and Mrs. Wilfred (Marilyn) Krupp of Galt; one brother, Wilfred, Galt and one grandchild. The body is at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Mount View cemetery.
