  Mrs. Leo Meier GALT, Mrs. Leo Joseph Meier, 62 Grand Ave., died Wednesday, at Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital. She was 73. The former Beatrice Eleanor Turner, she was born in England and came to Galt, 50 years ago. She was a member of St. Gregory's RC Church, the Catholic Women's League, the Galt Moose Lodge and the Ladies Auxiliary of Galt legion branch. She is survived by her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Alma) McDonald and Mrs. Annie Albin of Galt, Mrs. Donald (Edna) Balcarras of Waterloo, Mrs. William (Elsie) Norman of the Canadian Forces station, Gander, Nfld. and Elizabeth Saner Meier of Switzerland and 24 grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother and two sisters. The body will be at Little's Funeral Home, until Friday morning, when a requiem mass will be solemnized at St. Gregory's Church, at 11 a.m. A parish rosary will be said at the funeral home Thursday, at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Mount View cemetery.
