Requiem mass for Harry G. Peterson, 55, of RR 3, Listowel, formerly of 140 Highland Rd. E., who died Saturday, at St. Mary's Hospital, will be celebrated at St. Joseph's RC Church, Tuesday, at 11 a.m., following prayers, at 10: 30 a.m. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery. Rev. L. P. Cullaton will officiate. Mr. Peterson was born in Kitchener, Feb. 7, 1916, a son of Mrs. Mary Peterson and the late John Peterson. He was the proprietor of Peterson's Lunch at Highland Road and Spadina Road, until he retired four years ago. He was a member of St. Joseph's RC Church. In his younger years, Mr. Peterson played with the original senior Ontario Rugby Football Union on the Kitchener and Hamilton teams and as an intermediate with the Kitchener team. Surviving besides his mother are his wife, the former Mary Harlock: two sons, Jack of Kitchener and Robert of Listowel: three brothers, Michael and Paul, both of Kitchener and Anthony of Toronto; one sister, Mrs. Anna Crucha of Hamilton and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers. The body is at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home.
