  MRS. MELVIN A. REID The death occurred at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Monday of Mrs. Melvin A. Reid, 17 Beverly street. She was born in Bonfield, Ontario, 48 years ago and lived in Kitchener prior to coming to Galt, six years ago. In religion she was a Roman Catholic. The late Mrs. Reid is survived by three sons, Arnold Reid, Sudbury; Wilfred Reid, Kitchener; William Reid, Galt; four daughters, Jean, Earleen, June, Mrs. A. Woodworth (Joan), all of Galt; three brothers, William and Alex Burns, Chalk River; Peter Burns, Kirkland Lake; a sister, Mrs. Violet Ellison, Toronto; eight grandchildren. Her husband predeceased her in 1954. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 39 Grand Avenue North. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic church, Thursday morning, at 9 o'clock. Interment will be Mount View cemetery. Galt Reporter 1956
