  REES, Solomon Peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, May 6, 1987, in his 85th year. Solomon Rees is the loving husband of Mildred (nee Churchill) and a resident of Cambridge, since coming for Bell Island Newfoundland, in 1966. Mr. Rees is also survived by his sons, Gerald and his wife Lillian and Clifford and his wife Evelyn all of Cambridge, by his brothers Eugene of Toronto and George of St. Johns Newfoundland, by six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceaseed by one brother Edward. Mr. Rees was an honorary life time member of the Newfoundland Club of Cambridge. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, East Cambridge, on Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m., Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 1 hour prior to funeral service time, which will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment will follow in Mount View Cemetery.
