At the Hamilton General Hospital, on Wednesday, November 4, 1987, in his 66th year. Gerry Roberts of 246 The Greenway was the beloved husband of Doreen (nee Glyde). Dear father of Gary and his wife Cherrie, Diane (Mrs. William Purdy) and Deborah (Mrs. Terry Boomer) all of Cambridge. Dear brother of Daniel and Arthur of Cambridge, James of Sarnia, May and Lona of Cambridge and Margaret of Ottawa. Dear grandfather of Janis, Marc, Kerry and Kristy. He was predeceased by two brothers; Angus and Lewis, his parents; Bridget Roberts in April 1987 and Alfred Roberts in 1964. Mr. Roberts was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #121. He served overseas with the Royal Engineers from 1940-1946. He retired from Cello Products, after 35 years of service. At the request of the family there will be no visitation. Mass of the Christian Burial, will take place at St. Patricks R.C. Church, on Friday, at 9 a.m. Interment will take place in Mount View Cemetery.
