- Mrs. Joseph Small
PRESTON, Mrs. Joseph Small, 932 Caledonian View, died Sunday, at South Waterloo Hospital. She was 49. Mrs. Small, the former Adeline Deane, was born at Glace Bay, N.S. She had resided in Preston one year and prior to that in Galt. She was affiliated with the Temple Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Joseph of Halifax, Karl and Richard, both of Preston; two daughters, Ellen and Carolyn, both of Preston, four brothers, Henry Deane of Kingston, Douglas and Fred, both of Glace Bay and Lawrence of Kitchener; three sisters, Mrs. James (Irene) Bradbury of Galt, Mrs. William (Mary) Powers of Glace Bay and Mrss. George (Edna) Pottie of Preston and three grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, where a service will be conducted Wednesday, at 2 p.m Interment will be in Preston Park Lawn cemetery.
