    • Mrs. M. Wayper Smith

      Funeral services for the late Mrs. Margaret Wayper Smith, who passed away in Detroit on Saturday, took place here yesterday afternoon from St. John's Anglican church. Services were largely attended and many beautiful floral tributes were received marking the esteem in which the late Mrs. Smith was held by her many friends in this district.

      Rev. S. H. Brownlee, rector of St. John's church, assisted by Rev. Walter Bagnall, of All Saints chuch, Hamilton, conducted the services. Interment was in the Hespeler cemetery. Pall bearers were: George Dickson, of Kitchener; Walter Ogg, of Guelph;, W.S. Duff, O. Ward, Henry Schultz and James Farley, of Preston.

      SMITH -- At Jenning's Hospital, Detroit, on Saturday, January 1, 1938. Mrs. Margaret Wayper Smith, in her 76th year. The late Mrs. Smith is resting at her home, 149 King Street West, Preston. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Anlican Church on Wednesday, January 5, at 3 o'clock. Interment in Hespeler cemetery.
