  Lorne H. Bowey GALT, Lorne H. Bowey of 44 Blenheim Rd., died Friday, after a lengthy illness. Born in Galt, he worked at the Galt post office for the past 28 years. He was a member and former elder of First United Church, a longtime member and former secretary-treasurer of the Galt Kiltie Band and a member of Alma Masonic Lodge. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Bowey. Surviving are his wife, the former Lily Rintoul; a son, James and a daughter, Marnie, both at home; a brother, Elmer of Galt and a sister, Mrs. E. V. (Rhea) Warren of Zephyr. The body is at the T. Little and Son Funeral Home, where service will be conducted, Sunday, at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Mount View cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 10 Oct 1970 pg 27
