  Mrs. Florence Laur GALT, Mrs. Florence E Laur, 273 Blair Rd., Galt, died Saturday, at the Freeport Hospital. She was 79. Mrs. Laur was the former Florence E. Smith and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Smith. She was the last surviving member of her family. She was a member of First United Church. Her husband, Neil, predeceased her in 1951. Surviving are one son, George, RR 1, Preston; three daughters, Mrs. George (Edna) Gallagher and Mrs. Garnett (Florence) Dowse, both of Galt, Mrs. Alex (Dorothy) Pawelko of Preston; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The body is at Littles Funeral Home where service will be conducted, Tuesday, at 3;30 p.m. Interment will be in Mount View cemetery. Rev. Duncan White of First United Church will officiate.
