  ROWE, Evelyn Born September 29, 1918, in Toronto, Ontario. Died peacefully at home on March 30, 2014, in Cambridge, Ontario at the age of 95 years. Evelyn grew up in Preston, where she was a member of the first class at Preston High School and upon graduation was the school's second valedictorian. She graduated from Hamilton Teachers' College, attended McMaster University and began her career as an elementary school teacher. After World War II she left teaching to raise her family. Her later years were filled with travelling, reading, volunteering and enjoying her grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, William and Myrtle Ferguson, husband William, sister Bernice (Jim Kinder) and brother Don (Irene). Survived by sons, Ron (Paola) and John, sister Helen, grandsons, Daniel and Eric and nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and at Evelyn's request no service will be held.
