Beloved father of Sheila (Phil) Fletcher, John (Bernice), Joyce (Peter) Herring and son-in-law, Eugene Bregert. Loving grandfather of Susanna Bregert, Jonathon, Drew, Elizabeth, Amber (Fletcher), Grace, Wendy, Kim (Chalk) and Jake Martha, Kate (Herring) and 22 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother-in-law, Robert Burgess and six nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his eldest daughter, Patricia Biegert (1986): brothers, Frank and William and sister-in-law, Williamina. The family received friends at the Salvation Army Citadel, 303 Suncoast Drive East, Goderich, on Sunday, from 1: 30 p.m., until time of service, at 3 p.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge, at a later date.
