      Born in S. Miguel, Azores, passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Maria Conceicao Da Silva, and loving father of Ilda Da Silva (Denis) and Sister Margarida Da Silva, School Sisters of Notre Dame. Dear grandfather of Nelson and Jeffrey Da Silva. Loving brother of Jose Da Silva (Fernanda). Manuel was predeceased by his brothers; Vicente and Joao Da Silva, and his sister; Maria Soares. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, to be celebrated on Thursday, June 16, 2005, at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, at 10 a.m., Father A. Cunha celebrant. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
