At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, July 25, 1996, in his 69th year. Mel was an active member of the Labour Council, Toast-masters, Past President of the YMCA, a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church, a former employee of Stauffer-Dobbie and a retired employee of Canada Post, for 25 years. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee: Dobson). Dear father of Donald Macintosh, Wendy and her husband Gary Sosnoski, Andrea Westerveld, Christopher and his wife Jackie, Pamela and her husband Scott Douglas; loving grandfather of Zach; Erik, Tyler, Thomas and Allison. Brother of Daniel Macintosh and his wife Teresa, Ann and her husband Don Macina, Mary and her husband Bill Haldane and predeceased by a brother Roderick Macintosh. Friends will be received at COUTTS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge (today) Saturday, from 7-9 p.m., Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at Thomas Anglican Church, 110 Francis St., Cambridge, on Monday, July 29, 1996, at 2: 00 p.m., Rev. Don Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in Mount View Cemetery.
