Also survived by a brother, Frank of Cambridge; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife, Barbara Richardson in 1975. Mr. Gadd was born in Manchester, England; a resident of Cambridge, since 1912; retired from Joy Manufacturing Co. (Canada) Ltd. in Cambridge. Funeral services for Mr. Gadd, were held on Sunday, Jan. 2, 1983, from Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge. Interment in Mount View cemetery, Cambridge.
