  HILBORN, Eleanor Eileen Peacefully, on Friday, May 27, 2005, at People Care Centre, Tavistock, Eleanor Hilborn formerly of New Hamburg. She was born in North Dumfries Township, 84 years ago, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Ford) Gillespie. Eleanor was a member of the New Apostolic Church, New Hamburg, a member of the 39 Plus Club, New Hamburg, a member of the Haysville Sunshine Club and a life member of the Laura Rose Women's Institute, Cambridge. She enjoyed quilting as her hobby. Beloved wife of Roy Elton Hilborn, who predeceased her August 29, 1994. Loving mother of Anne & Bruce Catton of Paris. Ever remembered by her grandchildren, Scott and Tyler; and her great-granddaughter Jasmine. Dear sister of John (Jack) & Audrey Gillespie of Cambridge, and Mary Leeds of R. R. # 5, Guelph. Predeceased by her son, Donald James in 1972 and a sister Isabel and a brother-in-law, John Leeds. Friends & relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, on Sunday, from 2-5 p.m. and where the funeral service will be held, on Monday, May 30, 2005, at 2 p.m., with Michael Chapman officiating.
