Of Riverbend Place, formerly of Parkwood Drive, Cambridge, at her residence, on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1993, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur H. Nearingburg and dear mother of Jeanne Cameron Brown of Sheffield, Donald Arthur and his wife Arlene of Doon and David Alfred and his wife Diane of Cambridge. Also survived by a brother, Tom Hurst and his wife Edna of London. Ont. and a sister, Gladys (Mrs. Phillip Carter) of Cambridge: sisters-in-law, Peggy Hurst of Cambridge and Pleas Hurst Belleville. Dear grandmother of Laura (Mrs. Guy Murray), David Payne and his wife Susan. Cathy Nearingburg, Dawn (Mrs. Larry Farr), Janis (Mrs. John MacArthur) and Julianne and Andrew Cameron and great-grandmother of nine. Predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Harry Hurst. Mrs. Nearingburg, was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, the Hisperian's, the Galt Hospital Auxiliary, the V.O.N. and served with the Red Cross, during the Second World War and was a school trustee with the Toronto Board of Education responsible during her term for starting the Kindergarten classes in Toronto. She was a member of the Board of the Galt Library and also of the Galt Curling Club. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Friday), 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Corbett Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, Aug. 14, 1993, at 11 a.m., with Rev. James Thibodeau officiating. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
