- Mrs. Edward Liphardt
Twin City friends learned with sincere regret of the passing of Mrs. Edward Liphardt at her home. 44 Duke St., Waterloo on Saturday night in her 49th year. She had been seriously ill the past ten days.
The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from the late home. Interment was made in Mt. Hope cemetery, Rev. C. S. Roberts, pastor of the Lateran Church, officiated. The drawing room and casket at the home was banked with beautiful flowers sent by friends and organizations of which deceased was an active member.
The pallbearers were: J. Conrad J. M. Laing, Wm. Miller, H. Haas, M. C. Sturm and F. H. Moser.
The late Mrs. Liphardt, nee Irene Letter, was a daughter or the late Mr. and Mrs. John Letter. She was quite popular and a faithful and valued worker in the St. John's Church. She a member of teh choir, the St. John's Ladies, Women's Missionary society and Eastern Star Lodge.
Surviving are her husband, one son, Kenneth, at home, one brother, N. H. Letter, Mrs. of Waterloo, one sister, (Rev.) R. B. Geelbaar, Listowel.
