      At Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock, on Monday, February 6, 2006. Mona Pelton (nee Maltby), formerly of Embro, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry V. Pelton (1995). Dear mother of Carol Pelton of Thompson, Manitoba, Laurie Pelton (Sharon) of Peterborough, Lois Walton (Sophie) of Southampton and Doug Pelton (Ann) of RR 4, Embro. Lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Dear sister of Thoral Maltby and Cora Hall, both of Cambridge and the late Ola Maltby, Lelfa Maltby, Mancil Maltby and Delmer Maltby. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mona was actively involved in the Womens Institute, the United Church Women and various community projects in the Embro area and had been a teacher in several public schools, in Oxford County. Friends were received at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69, Wellington Street North, Woodstock, on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel, Thursday, February 9, 2006 (today), at 1 p.m., with Rev. Glen Wright officiating. Interment later, at Mountview Cemetery, Cambridge.
