Notes |
- MACINTOSH, Anne Elizabeth
1951 - 2017. We are deeply saddened to announce that Auntie Anne, passed away on Saturday, May 13th at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Anne is survived by her sister Lynne Golletz (Ivan); nieces Tosha Golletz (Dan Kemper) and Shannon Golletz (Jeff Jones). Great Auntie to Henry, Milo, Owen and Audrey. Predeceased by her parents Donal and Ethel MacIntosh. After growing up in Hespeler and graduating from PHS and Waterloo Lutheran University, Anne moved to Vancouver where she was employed in the Human Resource field until she established her own management consulting company. While she enjoyed working with many large well known firms, she found it extremely rewarding to assist the biotech startups. Anne took advantage of many outdoor pursuits on the west coast and when travelling abroad. She enjoyed sailing up the coast, skiing at Whistler, cycling locally or through winery routes of France, Germany and the Sonoma Valley, golfing locally or in Arizona and of course gardening. Anne had a natural ability to appreciate good design from architecture, to the smallest creative piece. She was an avid supporter of indigenous art. After retiring early, Anne spent a year in Australia and New Zealand. Anne returned to Cambridge, a few years ago to be close to her family. We will miss our lovely sister and aunt dearly. Fondly remembered by the MacIntosh and Beer families, her west coast friends, in particular Marg and Rod Reed and family, her former long time partner, Franz and many of her former classmates. Cremation has taken place and a private family service, will be held at New Hope Cemetery.
