  MEIER Gordon Joseph “Toby” At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday afternoon, May 20. 1988, Gordon Meier of 166 Edward Street Cambridge, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Jean Fleming Meier and dear brother of Lloyd and Mrs. Norma Marquis both of Cambridge. The late Mr. Meier was a former employee of the Town of Hespeler and the City of Cambridge in the Public Works Department, for 33 years until he retired, in 1977. He was a member of the Hespeler 1.O.O.F. Lodge and the Iris Rebekah Lodge, he was a veteran of World War 11, having served overseas, with the Canadian Armed Forces. Resting at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends this evening, from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday afternoon and evening, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in St. James Anglican Church, Harvey Street Cambridge, on Monday afternoon, May 23, at 2: 00 p.m. Interment New Hope Cemetery.
