  William Jones PRESTON, William Jones, 70, of 275 Hedley St., Preston, died suddenly at his home here yesterday. Born in England, Mr. Jones came to Preston, 50 years ago. He was employed as a sheet metal worker at the Eastern Steel Company Ltd., for more than 30 years. A member of St. John's Anglican Church here, he is survived by his wife, the former Susan Hay, one son, Edward of Crustal Beach, two daughters, Mrs. George. (Isobel) Furtney of Preston, and Mrs. Lloyd (Yvonne) Hauser, Waterloo; five brothers, Thomas, Henry and Louis, all in England, Richard of Doon and John R. of Preston and two sisters, Mrs. W. Fainaild Mrs. Emily Crudgington both in England, and eight grandchildren. The body is at Stager-Barthel Funeral Home, Preston, where the funeral will be conducted, Monday, at 4 o'clock.
