Notes |
- HAGEN-BEATTY.
A pretty July wedding took place at the home of Mr. S. beatty, Waterloo, Saturday afternoon, when his daughter, Miss Alfreda, was married to Mr. Albert Hagen, of Berlin. The ceremony, which took place at 4.15 o'clock, was performed by the Rev. E. A. Schulz, in the presence of about 50 guests. The decorations of roses and ferns were very pretty. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an exceedingly pretty dress of white silk coline over taffeta, with the regulation veil and orange blossoms, and carried a lovely bouquet of white roses. She was attended by Miss Freda Hagen bridesmaid, who was as becomingly gowned in a dress of cream canvas cloth and carried white carnations. Mrs. G. Moogk, who was the matron of honor, wore a pretty dress of champagne silk eoline, and carried pink carnations. The groom was unattended. Mrs. Chas. Treusch acceptably played Mendelssohn's wedding march. The many beautiful wedding gifts received testify to the esteem in which both are held by their many friends.
