  Monica Elizabeth Bruce (Helliwell) October 9, 1920 \endash December 27, 2020 The family of Monica Elizabeth Bruce announce her passing at Riverbend Place in Cambridge. She was born in Bradford, England and came to Canada with her family in 1927. Her passion in life was ballet and started her own ballet school at the tender age sixteen. She was predeceased by her loving husband William Stevens Bruce (2006) her sister-in-law Dorothy Idella Shewan (2001) brothers-in-law Boyd Shewan (1991) and Gordon Beckman (1982). She leaves behind, to mourn her loss, her sister, Barbara Cecilia Beckman, her son George (Brenda) and daughter Adrienne Goddard (Gord). Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A private family gathering at Mount View Cemetery Cambridge for Interment on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Many thanks to the Angels who work at Riverbend Place for all their love and care provided to our mom making her stay there so special. Rest in peace mom and go dance with the Angels in Heaven.
