  LEUTWEIN, Betty Betty Leutwein of Cambridge, Ontario, passed away peacefully, Thanksgiving Day, October 9, 2005, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. She was 85. Friends and family were with her throughout the day. Betty was predeceased by her twin brother, Ernie, in January of 1999. Mother, Elizabeth Leutwein (nee: Crump) passed away in 1970 and father, Roy Leutwein died in 1989. Sisters, Ruth (Tom) Boyd and Marjorie Short survive Betty and are joined in their sorrow by the special friendship of Irene Everingham. Nephew John (Rebecca) Short, Linda Morris Short, Lisa Short (Peter Faragher), Ian (Julie) Short, Sophia (Phil) Connell, William (Darla) Elliott will all fondly remember Betty's unique humour, loyalty and love. Over the past three years, Betty enjoyed hearing, learning and participating in the lives of her great-grandnieces and nephews, Lily and Cameron Faragher, Katherine Short, Laura, Alice and Madeline Connell, Zofia and Thomas Elliott. A private funeral service was conducted Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at the Corbett Funeral Home, in Cambridge. Interment will be in Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. Cambridge Times 2005
