  KIMPEL, Gay (nee Mary Gayford Rutherford) Predeceased by a son Andrew, died May 16th, 2000. A gallant and wonderful lady, loving wife of Doug of 52 years, who together were blessed with a wonderful family of Rosalind (Pierre) Coutu, Tom (Sandy) Kimpel and Martha (John), Olthuis and their grandchildren; Chris and Adi, Michael, Melissa, Jessica and Jon and Tanner and Nicole. Lovingly remembered by 2 sisters, Marnie Kresell and Jane Hansuld. She had a wide circle of friends who were lucky to have enjoyed her unconditional and dedicated friendship. A life long Georgian Bay Islander, sue lived and enjoyed all of the northern activities and loved many interesting distant travels. She worked tirelessly on behalf of others including, cancer patients, a disease that finally ended her life. Visitation at Coutts Funeral Home, Cambridge, Thursday, May 18th, 7-9 PM. A Memorial Service will be conducted, at Wesley United Church, Cambridge, Friday, May 19th., at 2: 00 P.M. Cambridge Reporter 2000
