A Memorial Service to honour this tremendous man will be held at Trillium United Church, 450 King Street East, Cambridge (Preston) on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at 2: 30 p.m. with Rev. Mark Rutledge and William Houghton officiating. Our partner, father and friend was a "measure twice, cut once" kind of man. This philosophy of caring is how he helped each and every soul that entered his life. If you were lucky enough to have been touched by our dad you would have been shown quiet advise, unlimited energy and a very heartfelt interest in human relationships. The master craftsman side of this great man provided thousands of original pieces in wood and leather. There wasn't anything he couldn't make or fix-even better than the original. The family would like to acknowledge the outstanding care given to our father during his final months. Thank you to Dr. Tibbo, Carol and Susan, Cambridge Medical Daycare, Dr. Chouihard, Dr. Gowing, Dr. Macie, Dr. Sim and Dr. Frape. Also a heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses in Oncology, Kim, Janice and other nurses on the team.Donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation Medical Daycare Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family. Tributes may be made online at www.mem.comArrangements entrusted to the Barthel Funeral Home, Cambridge.
