    • VANN, Lewis William

      At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, August 31st, 1988, in his 80th year. He was a builder by trade. Lewis William Vann of 112 Tait Street, Cambridge, born in Leicester, England in 1909. Son of the late Kathleen and Thomas Vann. Dear father of David at home and Robert of Chatham. Also survived by nieces, Kathleen Erhardt of Brantford, Muriel Griffin of Cambridge, Gretta Jones of Guelph and nephews, James Vann of Cambridge, Douglas Vann of Sheffield and Paul Vann of London. Mr. Vann was predeceased by his wife Elspeth (Betty) and three brothers; Harold, John and Clarence. Friends will be received at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel, Friday, 1: 30p.m., with Canon Bob Birtch officiating. Interment Mount View Cemetery.
