  VOKEY, Alice Virtue Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, September 2, 2003, in her 70th year. Alice Vokey (nee Parsons), beloved wife of the late Gordon Hayward Vokey (1984). Dear mother of Hayward and his wife Ida Vokey of Cambridge and cherished grandmother of Gordon. Loved daughter of Ellen Jane Parsons of Carbonear, Nfld., dear sister of Mildred Johnson and Hector Parsons and will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother, Will Parsons and a sister Lily Drover. Mrs. Vokey was a member of Trinity Anglican Church. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 223 Main St. E., Cambridge, on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at Trinity Anglican Church, Blair Rd., Cambridge, on Saturday, September 6, 2003, at 11 a.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
