At Hamilton General Hospital, on Saturday, January 7, 1995, in his 90th year. James Yeaman of Cambridge, Ontario, formerly of Dundee, Scotland, Loving and cherished father of Barbara of Waterloo, loved brother of William of Cambridge and Victor of Aylmer. Predeceased by his wife, Isabella (nee McLagan), brothers; Andrew, John and Robert and parents, John Yeaman and the former Mary Ann Ritchie. Before retirement, Jim had been a long time employee of the Cambridge Public Utilities Commission. He was a faithful Member and Elder of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Galt) Cambridge. A proud veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Highland Light Infantry of Canada, first in the reserve unit and then in active service, from 1940 - 1945, landing on Juno Beach on D-Day. Jim was the Company Quarter Master Sergeant (C.Q.M.S.) of "A" Company, from mobilization to discharge. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Galt Branch #121. Friends may call at COUTTS & SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, from 7 - 9 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 1995. Funeral Service at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Victoria Ave. at Osborne St., Cambridge (G), on Tuesday, January 10, 1995, at 2 p.m. Rev. Barry Luxon officiating. Committal Service to follow in the James Young Memorial Chapel, at Mount View Cemetery.
