  PEREIRA, Frank Peacefully, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at St. Andrew's Terrace at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Maria Emilia Dutra Pereira. Dear father of Manuel Pereira (Elsa), Joe Pereira (Josie), Linda McGaughey (Jack), and Sandy Neil (Phil). Avo of Richard (Amanda), Kristie (George), Allison (Alan), Michael, John (Diana), Amanda (James), Greg, Sarah,Phillip, Emily and Olivia, and 9 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Ana Medeiros. Predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Adelina Pereira and by his siblings; Maria, Manuel and Filomena. Frank was a founding member and past president of the Portuguese Club of Cambridge. He was instrumental in establishing the St. Vincent de Paul chapter at St. Ambrose Parish. He dedicated his life to helping those in need. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge, where family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, from 5-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be recited at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at St. Ambrose RC Church, 210 South Street, Cambridge, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery.
